Dammit, you beat me to it.  Oh well, saves me the trouble of having to work on the graphic.  Good job!

Excuse me, I have a question regarding shirts of this material.
Now this Pokemon is a trademark character owned by Nintendo.
How are you legally capable of producing shirts given that it is a copyrighted character?

I'm a free lance artist, I get commissioned to draw what they want me to. its not my job for the commissioner to have the rights or not I just re translate what they want. and if we are told to remove the shirt from the original source then we always do no questions asked.
But usually Nintendo is really lax on non licensed things. There are millions of non-licensed mario/pokemon shirts out there and if Nintendo wanted to crush the competition they will and can. From what I can tell we have only have 2 complaints for licenses and that was from Valve who had us only remove a few of the non copywrite designs but not all some were fine to them, and 1 my little pony shirt. Nintendo has never bothered us infact at our last convention they were there and loved the shirts we sold and have solf official reps our designs in the past.

I understand the concern tho I get super iffy when the design is straight up from something and not a super original design, but my boss thought it would be great to have this up for the release and before halloween to help any cosplayers get a heads start :)

Thanks for responding in a calm orderly manner.
My concern comes from my own ventures into this field of work.
I am considering getting a store set up for shirt designs and for my perler bead work.

I was wondering is their any shirt printing site you would recommend?
I am considering Zazzle but they seem pretty hardcore about against copy-written material, so they may not be lax enough for parody style shirts.
I understand that concern, fear of lawsuits and repercussions but I am looking for a place where parody shirts are welcome with out scrutiny.

Like you, I am a firm believer in original concepts and designs.
I am really looking to push my own designs and hope for them to get noticed.
And advice on that front too? On coming up with original material and concepts.

No worries i'm happy you weren't cruel about it i've been straight up called a thief before :/ I don't trace I redraw everything and most of my shirts are original poses and are in my style.

Ummm Zazzle isn't great i would try Redbubble? lots of fanart up there and ive sold on their and gotten my money.

Original concepts are tough, but see what's popular and try to shove yourself into the niche, "Oh people ar into hipsters and foxes? i'll draw a cute fow with glasses in my style!" and hopefully people will dig it.

Could you link me to your redbubble store?

I didn't feel a need to attack you because so many artist produce products that are parody or pop cultural based. I merely figured you must've been another one given the product in question so I figure I would ask in a proper man to elicit the proper response.
Atacking you would have accomplished nothing. It wouldn't get me my answers and it'd make me look like a jerk which isn't beneficial to me either.
I am just a curious party looking to get more work started in the world of selling art work.
